i started this project 3 years ago. stripped the car to frame. sand blasted it, repaired any rust, which was minimal. i then put in all new body seam filler, primed and fixed the body for paint and painted the under neath and engine compartment with blue!
all body dents repaired and primed, ready for paint, doors and hoods have not been touched yet, all original
my intention was to make it a show car. spent 5k on the body alone
sandblasted front and rear suspension, put all new bushings and painted them black
tore engine down, rebuilt it with new rings, bearings, valve job, viton o-rings etc, painted it
have new front and rear brakes, new brake lines and gas lines, new glass all the way around
have a brand new windshield in the box
have all the original parts, original seats, top etc, but all need replaced and updated
plus all the original stuff that was taken off
do to economy and new career don't have time to finish it
if you want to make a show car, then this is the one for you.
all it need is assembled

i don't have any rims for it cause i was gonna put chrome ones on it.

i ahve owned over 20 corvair, still own one, a 69 convertible i am restoring. there isnt much i dont know about them, been a collector all my life, am selling the rampside on here now
i have a friend who is just as good as me who could finnish car for a price
am selling the rotisserie with the car, just roll it on your trailer and you can finnish it, great project over the winter
will be a 20k car when furnished, need about 5 to 7 k to finish, depending on paint
